Traffic alert: 24th St. and Virginia Dr. reopened

5:15 p.m. - 24th Street and Virginia Drive have both been reopened - nothing was found by police on search of business.

4:50 p.m. - Yuma Police have closed 24th Street between 1st Avenue and 4th Avenue.  The area between 23rd Street and 25th Street on Virginia Drive has also been blocked off.  Traffic is backed up in the area and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Police received a report of a bomb threat from a business in the 200 block of west 24th Street and surrounding businesses were evacuated as a precaution.  No bomb has been found as of this time and police are searching the area.  We will have more on YumaSun.com as the story develops.
