Two injured in Highway 95 accident
Two people were released from Yuma Regional Medical Center on Friday after being treated for injuries suffered in a two-car accident at Highway 95 and Avenue 7E, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
One vehicle was turning left from Highway 95 onto Araby Road about 10 a.m. when it pulled into the path of a westbound car, DPS said. The impact of the collision caused the car that had been turning to roll over.
The driver of the vehicle that rolled over told accident investigators he had been turning on a green arrow, while the driver of the other vehicle said he had a green light, DPS said. Neither of the drivers was identified.
Both suffered minor injuries, DPS said.
Rural/Metro firefighters had to cut open the rolled vehicle to free the driver.
