City's annual public auction Saturday
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The city of Yuma's annual public auction will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the city yard, 190 W. 14th St.
Items to be auctioned include vehicles, grounds equipment, cell phones, car stereos, TVs and VCRs, office equipment and furniture, desktop and laptop computers and printers.
The items are generally in good condition, city officials say, but are no longer needed due to such reasons as changes in staff, changes in usage or passing their budgeted life span.
Items can be previewed at the city yard between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. today (Friday). Those who wish to participate in the auction should arrive before 9 a.m. Saturday to get a bidder's card, which is free to participants.
