AWC women crush Mira Costa

Arizona Western rolled to a 62-28 win at Mira Costa (Calif.) on Saturday.

Coach Patrick Cunningham said the game was a tune-up for the Matadors, which face rival an Arizona Community College Athletic Conference power Central Arizona at home Wednesday.
“It was a good effort after a long break,” Cunningham said. “Now it's time to prepare for a big week ahead.”
