Yuma police investigating armed robbery at pizza delivery store

Yuma police are looking for the two suspects who robbed a pizza delivery shop at gunpoint early Friday morning.

Officers responded to Domino's Pizza, located at 712 S. 4th Ave., shortly after midnight after receiving a 911 call reporting the armed robbery.

When officers arrived on scene, they were told that two unknown men wearing masks over their faces had entered the business, one of whom was armed with a handgun.

Once inside the business, the armed suspect pointed the handgun at the manager and demanded money. After taking all the cash from the register, the suspects fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Yuma police officers searched the surrounding neighborhood for the suspects, but they were not located.

One suspect was described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a mask over his face and armed with a handgun. The second suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with a mask over his face also. The suspects spoke English but with Spanish accents.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with any information about this crime to call (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.
