Featured symposium artist: Lisa Beth Robinson
Lisa Beth Robinson prides herself in the making of artists books where she describes the process as visualizing “the relationship between language and experience, making connections between disassociated objects and concerns.”
She received both her MFA and MA-LIS from the University of Wisconsin. Robinson has an impressive curatorial and exhibition history as well as extensive teaching experience, receiving several grants and awards across the nation.
This year's presentation will be titled “Material Narrative in the Alternative Book Structure (Book Arts): aka Seed and Stories.” The presentation will present how to use uncommon materials that help become the narrative in artist books structures and how the latter create literal and figurative narratives.
