Bank donation aids Amberly's Place
I would like to express gratitude to Foothills Bank and its customers. Recently, the bank celebrated its 15th birthday, and in honor of that decided to give back $15,000 to the community.
Various non-profits were nominated, then the customers were the ones who voted and decided which top three nonprofits would receive $5,000. Amberly's Place was selected as one of those nonprofits and recently Wayne Gael, bank president, toured the center and presented us with the check.
There are no words to really express our gratitude for this wonderful gift. Last month, 223 victims needed the services of Amberly's Place, each with a difference emergency need. It is through donations such as this that we are able to provide for those needs. Sometimes it is as simple as providing a new lock, diapers, food or clothes or as complicated as relocating to a safer place.
They have our sincere thanks for their willingness to reinvest in our community. To the customers of Foothills Bank, thank you for standing up and being a voice for victims. You have shown them through your vote that they are of value and worth and you do believe in them.
Since opening Amberly's Place, more than 18,000 victims of abuse have been helped. This could not be done without community support. Together we are making a difference.
