Ross Thomas

Ross Thomas, 51, of Yuma, died March 5, 2004, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 22, 1946, in Boise, Idaho, and was a correctional officer for the Arizona Department of Corrections.

A memorial service will be held Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 2555 Engler Ave.

Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements, including cremation.

B.L. Helm

B.L. "Bill" Helm, 79, of Yuma, died March 5, 2004, at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 21, 1924, in Penalosa, Kan., and was a retired attorney and Superior Court judge.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Desert Lawn.

Wayne William Ursuery

Wayne William Ursuery, 93, of Red Bluff, Calif., died March 4, 2004, in Red Bluff.

He was born Feb. 1, 1911, in Paris, Texas.

Arrangements are being handled by Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff.
