Norman Bogart & Betty Strang 73rd Wedding Anniversary
Norman and Betty Bogart were married in Big Rapids, Michigan on August 5, 1939 where they lived until after WWII when they migrated to Arizona and then to California where they raised their four children, Norman E. (deceased), James, Rebecca, Janice Fingerle (Fritz) and an adopted daughter, Sonie. They have six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
After retirement they traveled in their 5th wheel always looking for a new place to square dance, which they have enjoyed doing since they were children growing up together. After five years they returned to Yuma which they had chosen as a permanent home. They lived here for 20 years. Their children honored them with a family dinner at the Ironwood Steak House.
