Travel West on Interstate 8 to the Andrade Mexico (Los Algodones exit) Travel south on Route 186 for 7 miles to the Mexico border.
The border crossing is officially Andrade, California. Algodones is located in the Mexican state of Baja California. The Andrade, California border crossing into Algodones is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. A large paved parking lot is available for a nominal parking fee. You can also drive across the border into Mexico. Be aware that guns are illegal in Mexico - don't cross with them in your vehicle.
