Shamrock boys into state quarterfinals

The Yuma Catholic boys soccer team defeated Santa Cruz 4-2 in the 1A/2A/3A Boys State Winter Soccer Tournament on Friday.
Jorge Zavala finished with two assists and two goals for the Shamrocks, who play Safford today in the second round.
Cody Alexander and Fernando Estrada each scored goals. Peach also had an assist as did Joseph Gandara.
Yuma Catholic led 4-1 at the half.
