Where Cash Mobs go ... businesses grow!
DIGITAL CANDY
Most of us have heard about a “flash mob.” Originally started out as mass of people that were usually summoned through social media, they would gather in a public place to sing or dance and or cause a disruption of some type.
A new constructive way to use social media to bring people together is called a “cash mob.” Instead of having 60 people just show up and cause a commotion, how about having them show up at a location, but with 20 dollars to spend? Think about the positive impact that would have on our local economy.
The Arizona Small Business Development Center has had the great idea of bringing cash mobbing to Yuma to help our local small businesses and ignite a little bit of our own needed economic stimulus.
Cash mobs started late last year and have had amazing results. In some instances, increasing revenue by 600 percent for a small business community within one week. Become a part of a movement meant to help our local economy! Follow twitter.com/#1!/awcsbdc/ or www.facebook.com/groups/cmyuma.
