Catron takes fourth at state

Gila Ridge's Collin Catron shot a final round 3-over 75 to take fourth place in the 5A-II State Golf Tournament at the 500 Club. Catron, who finished the first round tied for second had a two-day score of 145.
"I got a little erratic off the tee," Catron said. "I just kept up with it, but I just wasn't getting the breaks I did the first day."
Catron finished the first day with a 70, after carding five-straight birdies on the front nine. He recorded 30 strokes on the first nine holes.
