Comings and Goings: Crimson Sky Realty's changes

There have been a number of changes for Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realty, literally living up to its motto, "We never stop moving."

The real estate agency has moved to 250 W. 24th St., the exact address it had for a number of years before relocating to a more upscale — and larger — office at 1590 S. 2nd Ave.

"It was strictly a business decision," said broker Doug Calvet. With the current real estate climate, there wasn't enough business at the Yuma office to justify the overhead for the larger office, he explained.

It just happened that the agency's former office space was available when the decision was made to move. The office has the same phone number of 783-5939.

In another move, the property management side of the office has spun off to become Yuma Property Management with Calvet's daughter Katie Figueroa as the broker. It strictly handles the property management of single-family residences. That office is next door to Crimson Sky and can be reached at 783-0270.

In yet another move, Crimson Sky's Foothills office at 11361 S. Foothills Blvd. has expanded into the office space next door, adding about 900 square feet. That office is now under the management of Angie Valdez, a longtime real estate agent with Crimson Sky. And three experienced Realtors have joined the Foothills office: Kathy James, Kelly Maheu and Donna Fortney. They can be reached at 342-0422.
