The same 19 charges were levied against the trio, suspected in the slaying of Gene Norman Snyder Jr., who was found dead in his home at 250 W. 25th St.

The following charges were announced Tuesday against Vanessa Rodriguez, 23, Kim Rivera, 18, and Manuel Jesse Salazar, 20:

  • Two counts first-degree murder

Justice of the Peace Jorge Lozano kept the bond for Rodriguez, Rivera and Salazar set at $1.56 million.

A fourth suspect, 16-year-old Jose E. Guzman, was arraigned Friday. Guzman, who was charged as an adult, faces charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a deadly weapon. Prosecutors have stated that strong evidence points to Guzman allegedly being one of the shooters.

Authorities with the Yuma County Attorney's Office declined to comment on the case Tuesday.

The suspects' next court appearance will be Monday at 4:45 p.m.
