Aglow brunch
Yuma Aglow Lighthouse will have guest speaker Jackie Lacy on Saturday at Ramada Inn, 300 E. 32nd St.
The topic “Life, Love and Light Equals Jesus” will be at 9:45 a.m. Cost is $9. RSVP to Elaine at 782-9377.
In concert
Full Gospel Lighthouse, 3302 W. 8th St., will have a concert with Ruby Ewing at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. A love-will offering will be collected.
Mission dinner
First United Methodist Church, 298 W. 3rd St., will have a mission dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
Menu includes ham, baked potato, mixed vegetables, rolls and homemade desserts. Cost is a donation to the church mission fund.
Open house
The public is invited to an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 13 for the new Foothills Meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8-1/2E and 36th Street.
The public can preview the various auxiliary organizations within the church, including the Relief Society, the church's organization for women; and the Primary, the program for children.
The meetinghouse includes a chapel, cultural hall, several classrooms and offices. For information, call Tom Thompson at 446-8124.
