Mission dinner
First United Methodist Church, 298 W. 3rd St., will have a mission dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Menu includes ham, baked potato, mixed vegetables, rolls and homemade desserts. Cost is a donation to the church mission fund.
Financial Peace University
Stone Ridge Church, 6300 E. 24th St., will hold the Financial Peace University course for families and individuals beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Dave Ramsey will teach the nine-week course once a week, followed by a small-group discussion. Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving for emergencies and investing. For information or to register, call Terri Turner at 314-4410.
Buffet breakfast
The public is invited to a buffet breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Neumann Church in the Father Friel Centre, 11545 E. 40th St. Includes eggs, regular and Denver, bacon or sausage, pancakes or waffles, potatoes, toast, orange juice and coffee. Camp meeting revival
Somerton/Cocopah Church of the Nazarene and Ministerio El Buen Samaritano, 208 E. George St., will have a camp meeting revival under the big tent on church grounds at 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Oct. 21.
Pastor/Evangelist Rev. Alvin Tso will be the special speaker; worship teams from both churches will provide special music. There will be a 10 a.m. service Oct. 21 with a potluck dinner to follow and final service at 2 p.m. Services will be in Spanish to English and English to Spanish. Rummage sale
Trinity United Methodist Church, 3030 S. 8th Ave., will have a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 20.
Minister honored
As part of its 120-year celebration, First United Methodist Church, 298 W. 3rd St., will honor former ministers. Mary Lou Adame will be honored during the 10 a.m. service Oct. 21.
