Christian CD

The public is invited to hear a Christian CD “Let's Praise the Lord,” released by the Rev. Tomas E. Vasquez at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (Arizona time) at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 465 1st Ave., Winterhaven.

Music fellowship

Ron and Opal Erickson will present the grand opening of their Legacy Gospel music fellowship concert Tuesday at Community Christian Church, 6480 E. Highway 95. There will be food, snacks and coffee from 1 to 2 p.m., concert from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free, donations accepted.

Gospel concert

Paul and Cindy Talley will be in concert at 6 p.m. Friday at Foothills Southern Baptist Church, 13148 E. 40th St. Admission is free; a love offering will be received.

Yard sale

St. John Neumann Knights of Columbus Council 8305 will have a yard sale in the east parking lot of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11545 E. 40th St., from 7 a.m. to noon Jan. 19. There will be a wide assortment of merchandise. Coffee and donuts available to purchase. No early birds. All proceeds from the sale will be used for Knights youth charities. Mexican dinner

St. John Neumann Church, 11545 E. 40th St., will have a Mexican dinner from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 19. There will be chiles rellenos or beef fajitas, both served with rice and beans. Cost is $8. Meals can be either eat in or take out.

Clothes for the needy

Central Church of Christ, 651 W. 28th St., will give free clothes for the needy from 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursdays.

Gospel sing

The public is invited to the Bard gospel sing 6 to 8 p.m. Arizona time every Friday at Bard Community Building, 1250 Bard Road. A potluck will follow.
