St. Patrick's Day dinner, dance
The public is invited to a St. Patrick's Day dinner and dance today in the Friel Centre at St. John Neumann Church, 11545 E. 40th St. Dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m., dancing to Crossroads Band from 7 p.m. to midnight. Dinner will be your choice of corned beef and cabbage or pork loin and stuffing. Alcoholic refreshments will be available for $2. Cost is $25 per person. For information, call 342-3544.
Open Mosque day
The Islamic Center of Yuma, 200 W. 24th St., invites the public to an open Mosque day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Take a Mosque tour, meet your Muslim neighbors, and learn about Islam and Muslims. Gospel group
Country Roads Community Church, 5707 E. 32nd St., will have Liberty Quartet, a southern gospel group, at 10 a.m. Sunday in place of the regular church service. A love offering will be taken.
Buffet breakfast
St. John Neumann Church, 11545 E. 40th St., will have a buffet breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Tuesday. There will be eggs, both regular and Denver, bacon or sausage, pancakes or waffles, potatoes, toast, orange juice and coffee. Cost $7.
Faith of our fathers
What was the faith of our fathers? Why did they believe the way they believed? Take an eight-week journey to discover the faith of our fathers contained in the life, mind and teaching of the original Christian church beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Francis Morris Boardroom, Building 3C, at Arizona Western College. Lenten services
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1550 S. 14th Ave., will have Lenten services through Wednesday at 8 a.m. with Eucharist, compline service at 5:30 p.m., stations of the cross at 6 p.m. and the movie “Dekalog” at 6:30 p.m.
Mexican dinners
St. John Neumann Church, 11545 E. 40th St., will have Mexican dinners from 2 to 6 p.m. March 23. Choice of beef fajitas or chiles rellenos, both served with rice and beans. Cost is $8. Eat-in or take-out available. For information, call 342-3544.
