Hoping for a visit from 'cleaning fairy'

An Ohio woman has been sentenced to probation for breaking into a home and cleaning it. If this happened to me, I wouldn’t press charges. I would invite her back!

Dubbed the “cleaning fairy,” the 53-year-old woman must also do 20 hours of community service. I wonder if cleaning strangers’ houses – like me, for instance – counts.

According to the Associated Press, the woman told police she “wanted something to do,” so she broke into a home, washed dishes, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted. Then she left a bill for $75. This part ruins the “fairy” tale.

She confessed to owning a cleaning business and sometimes entering homes, cleaning them and leaving the bill. Now that’s a woman who likes housecleaning!

As for me, it’s not my favorite. So I certainly wouldn’t mind if my very own “cleaning fairy” showed up at my house and after cleaning it, paid me for the privilege.
