CLOTHIER-WILLIAMS WEDDING
William J. Clothier, Jr. (Billy) and Deena Diane Williams-Clothier were joined in marriage on Saturday, September 5, 2009.
The couple exchanged vows surrounded by family & friends on the bluffs overlooking the ocean at the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego, California.
The bride was escorted by her father, Phil L. Williams of Yuma, Arizona. She was attended by her Maid of Honor, Beatrice McClaskey and her step-daughter, Marrissa Clothier.
The Groom was escorted by his parents, William and Carmela Clothier of Yuma, Arizona. William Clothier stood beside his son as the best man.
Music was provided for the ceremony by Caprice Strings of San Diego, California.
The ceremony was followed by a white dove release over the ocean.
The bride wore an Alfred Angelo gown with an antique Italian lace veil and carried white roses and orchids.
A reception followed at the Towne and Country Resort in San Diego, California. Flowers were provided by A New Leaf owned by Misty and Frank Evanson of Yuma. Hair styling was provided by Tina Wells, Owner of Cameo Beauty of Yuma. Photography was provided by Regan Williams of Yuma, Arizona.
The bride is a graduate of Kofa High School and has a post-graduate degree from the University of California, San Diego in Animal Behavior. She is the former 1977 Yuma Silver Spur Rodeo Queen. She is the Managing Partner of Best Block Trucking, LLC., and is currently a wildlife Rehabilitator for the Arizona Department of Fish and Game and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
The Groom attended Yuma High School, obtained his GED and completed a degree in electronics. He is currently employed by Albertson’s Grocery Store, and assists with the rehabilitation and release of rescued wild animals. The couple resides in Yuma.
