Featured symposium artist: Kathleen Crocetti

Taking her idiosyncrasies seriously will be the basis for this year's presentation by artist Kathleen Crocetti. Titled “The Tom Sawyer Effect: How a Bossy Extrovert with OCD Gets Others to Pay For and do the Dirty Work,” she will discuss in detail the different and involved aspects of her community based projects she refers to as Site Specific Community Based Installations.

Crocetti is most interested in “distilling complex social issues into visual metaphors that are readable and engaging to both participants and viewers.” She has successfully worked on community projects both nationally and internationally.
