Taste of Home ticket giveaway

The Yuma Sun is giving away tickets to the Taste of Home Cooking School.

This national cooking school, which comes to Yuma on Thursday, will feature chef Eric Villegas, star of the Emmy Award winning PBS show “Fork in the Road.”

The Yuma Sun, which sponsors this popular event, will be giving away tickets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday via the newspaper's Facebook page. Four tickets will be given away each day. Go to Facebook.com/YumaSunNews to participate.

Taste of Home Cooking School is an evening of live cooking demonstrations, free cookbooks and gift bags.

Tickets are available at the Yuma Sun, 2055 S. Arizona Ave.

Premium seats are $13 and general admission seats $10. A new category of admission is being offered this year: a $5 ticket for teachers and students.

An expo prior to the cooking school will feature various vendors. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for the expo.

Doors to the auditorium will open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.
