Public best hope to save country

Having been through one Depression and participated in World War II, I have seen the country change. What has become of it? Judges now seem to rule the country. We now put in prison the worst because the death penalty is cruel, and the public can now support them the rest of their lives with all the benefits. Where instead of pleading, defense attorneys have never heard or seen a crime where it is obvious.

Illegals crowd the hospital emergency wards and pay nothing, and we all wonder why hospital costs go out of sight. Appointments in government are only for political reasons and not for the good of our country. Where laws have been changed to favor the rich and the proof is the number of millionaires. Where good programs are few which should make President Roosevelt turn over in his grave.

The fact is, few of his programs would be approved today. If not, where would we be today? Where free trade is not free, they send millions while they buy little.

Stop illegals by freezing the money earned here. Money cannot be sent to Mexico as this not only helps the family but helps the government. I will not be around to see and hear how the highly educated baby boomers save their country as the country has problems.

Let’s face it, Republicans nor Democrats will not save the country, the public might.
