Handbell choir to ring in the season

Every year, some special musicians ring in the Christmas season by making beautiful holiday music with bells.

For many Yumans, attending a performance of the Cindy Klein Memorial Handbell Choir is an annual must during the days before Christmas.

The bell choir currently has 15 concerts on its schedule:

• Thursday: Yuma East Country Club at 6 p.m.

• Saturday: Ajo Federated Church at 2 p.m.

• Sunday: Los Amigos at 2 p.m.

• Sunday: Araby Acres at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 9: Del Pueblo at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 10: Trinity United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. (concert)

• Dec. 11: Trinity United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. (concert)

• Dec. 12: Trinity United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. (church service)

• Dec. 12: Trinity United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. (concert)

• Dec. 16: Foothills Assembly of God at 6:30 p.m.

• Dec. 18: Fortuna de Oro at 2 p.m.

• Dec. 18: Cactus Garden at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 19: SunRidge at 3 p.m.

• Dec. 19: Desert Paradise at 6 p.m.

• Dec. 23: Westwind at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 24: Trinity United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
