Metcalf wins at Bear Creek
Yuma's Lauren Metcalf won the girls 10-11-year-old division Sunday at the Phoenix Metro Junior Championship at Bear Creek Golf Course in Chandler.
Metcalf shot a 139 to take first.

Denny hits two aces
Marilyn Denny hit two holes-in-one in less than a week at Las Barrancas Golf Course.
Denny aced the par-3 12th hole on Friday using a gap wedge. Then on Monday, she used a pitch wedge to ace the par-3 third hole.
Both aces were witnessed by her husband, Paul Denny.
