Crane school district to look at goals
The Crane Elementary School District's goals for the upcoming year will be on the agenda at a meeting Tuesday.
The board will decide whether or not to adopt the district goals for the 2013-2014 school year which include goals on student achievement, parent and community involvement, and district resources.
In other meeting news, the superintendent will share items of interest with the governing board during his monthly report of past, present or upcoming events or happenings.
The board will also consider a number of revised policies as part of its consent agenda. Policies involve subjects including superintendent evaluations, staff participation in political activities, public solicitations in school, animals in schools, and smoking on school premises by staff members and the public.
The board meeting will be at 5 p.m. at the Crane Education Center, 4250 W. 16th St.
