Dixon leads AWC to win

Aaseem Dixon made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points as Arizona Western cruised past Impact Academy 91-69 Saturday on the final day of the New Mexico Military Institute Bronco Classic in Roswell, N.M.
Keywhon Powers added 17 for the Matadors (4-3), who return home to open Arizona Community College Athletic Association play Tuesday against Pima.
“We moved the ball better on offense today,” coach Charles Harral said. “It was an opportunity for everyone to play. We have to work hard to get ready for a good Pima team on Tuesday.”
