Don't worry about the big things, forget the little things
Wise words spoken 2,000 years ago, spoken by one who knew how to live, love, and learn apply today:
“If you believe God don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. You count far more to him than birds.
“Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? ... walk out into the fields look at the wild flowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it?
“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wild flowers, don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax. God reality will prevent worry about missing out. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when they come.” Matt. 6:25-34 [MSG].
Don't be controlled by the small stuff. Continued concentration on pinpricks of life will enlarge them. Ignore them. If you feed fear, it grows. More people have been killed by worry than work. Difficulties in life's possibilities shouldn't prevent the satisfaction of accomplishment. Don't sacrifice life's precious treasure for the unessential and passing controversy.
