The Yuma Sun's Newspapers in Education Website is loaded with useful, fun information for parents, teachers and students!

For example, KidScoop offers a variety of information in all three categories. I got lost in the “Tasty Recipes” section under the Parents tab.

One recipe, for example, was an easy way to make pickles at home.

Who knew that with just eight ingredients, you could have homemade pickles??

Another site, KidsHealth, offers information, tips and ideas for healthy living for both parents and kids.

I loved the kids portion of the website, which breaks down medical issues at a level kids can understand.

A recent braces article, for example, explained why braces are needed, how they work, and how to take care of them - a great read for a kid getting ready for a first trip to the orthodontist.
