Excel offers counseling

The Excel Group is making available a team of counselors and other behavioral health professionals today and next week to help area residents deal with anxiety and trauma related to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

The Excel counselors will meet with area families and individuals in community support meetings at 5:30 p.m. today, Tuesday and Sept. 20 at the Excel Group's Governance Hall, 3220 E. 40th St.

The meetings, open to the public, will address questions, concerns and issues Americans are facing in the wake of Tuesday's attacks.

Attending from Excel will be Annette Church, clinical director; Jason Bradley, crisis stabilization unit program manager; Jodi Evans, clinical services chief; clinician Melissa King-Waldrip; and Marge McFerron, case management supervisor.
