Excited by arrival of F-35s to Yuma

After reading the Yuma Sun article on the F-35's arrival (“First F-35 Lightning lands at MCAS”), I can't help but hide my excitement over this airplane coming to our community.

The economic impact it will have is astounding, and it's great to know that Yuma will be the stomping ground for America's next generation of military aircraft.

I know that defense cuts are looming though, so it will be up to our newly-elected officials to continue to fight for the full funding of this program, so that Yuma's MCAS can continue to provide the economic impact it is capable of giving.
