LA FORCE ANNIVERSARY
Ralph and Ora La Force are celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
They were married in Southmills, North Carolina on October 27, 1944.
Ora and Ralph met July 1944, in Miami, Florida. Ralph was attending a radar tactician training course with the United States Coast Guard. Ora was working at Heggetts Drug Store.
Ralph and Ora have lived in Yuma for 28 years and have five wonderful children, Carol Amweg of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Linda La Force of Yuma, Gayle Berry of Santa Rosa, California, Debra Ambrose of Boise Idaho and Brian La Force of Sacramento, California.
They also have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the La Force residence during the week of Thanksgiving to honor their Anniversary.
