Grace Frei

Grace Frei, 68, died on April 23, 2003 at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma. She was born in El Salvador on July 3, 1935. She was a retired school teacher from Kofa High School, but continued to substitute teach for the Yuma Union High School District. She has lived in Yuma since 1960. She is survived by her loving husband, David J. Frei of Yuma; her loving daughters, Elizabeth Downey, of Wichita, Texas, Debora Martinez, of Riverside, California, Cathrine Finney, of Phoenix, Arizona, Cindy Steinbart, of Austin, Texas; son, David D. Frei, of Yuma; and 13 grandchildren.

A Wake will be held at Johnson Mortuary on April 25, 2003 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on April 26, 2003 at Immaculate Conception, 505 Avenue B.
