Serenity Yuma Studio will hold a three-day wellness fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the studio, 720 E. 22nd St., Suite C.
Free classes and demonstrations will cover such topics as exercises, ways of eating and other ways to improve health.
•Free blood pressure checks
RTA Hospice and Palliative Care offers complimentary blood pressure checks every Tuesday at Desert Rose Retirement Residence, 1545 S. 14th Ave., from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.; at La Mariposa Senior Villas, 701 E. 24th St., from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; and at Emerald Springs Retirement and Assisted Living Community, 1475 S. 46th Ave., from noon to 1 p.m. Blood pressure checks are offered Thursdays at Sunquest Village, 265 E. 24th St., from 8 to 9 a.m. and Catalina Square Apartments, 3000 Catalina Drive, from 10 to 11 a.m.

•Wittgrove patients support group
A weight loss surgery support group for patients of Wittgrove Bariatic Center meets Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Yuma County Adult Probation Center, 145 S. 2nd Ave. The meeting is open to Wittgrove's pre- and post-operative bariatic surgery patients.
•Depression Bipolar Support Alliance
The Yuma Chapter Depression Bipolar Support Alliance holds support meetings every Tuesday for parents with children or teens who are depressed or bipolar. Meetings take place 10 to 11:30 a.m. the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Yuma Community Food Bank board room, 2404 E. 24th St., and 7 to 9 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday, also in the board room. •Women's cancer support group
A support group for women who are cancer survivors meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Sunstone Cancer Support Center, 202 S. 1st Ave., Suite 102.

•Parkinson's support group

•Support for caregivers

•Breast cancer group

•Alzheimer's groups
Two support groups exist for those caring for people with Alzheimer's and other dementias. One meets at 10:30 a.m. the first and third Friday at Copper Hills House, 12234 North Frontage Road, and the other meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday at Emerald Springs, 1475 S. 46th Ave.

•Bereavement support group
A bereavement support group at Yuma Regional Medical Center will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday for six-week periods in 2009 to help people cope with the loss of loved ones.

•Autism support group
The Yuma Parents of Autism Support Group, for parents and families of children with autism, meets Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Kokopelli Room at Yuma Regional Corporate Center, 399 W. 32nd St.

•Overeaters Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous has three chapters in Yuma area. One meets at 1 p.m. every Monday at Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church, 11273 E. 40th St. in the Foothills. Another meets meets 6:30-7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at Central Church of Christ, 651 W. 28th St. The other meets noon on Thursdays at Central Church of Christ. Overeaters Anonymous is for anyone who suffers from compulsive overeating, no matter their body size.
•PTSD support group
Women with relatives suffering combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder can join a support group that will show them how to deal with their loved ones' symptoms relating to this chronic condition.
The support group meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at 2557 S. Arizona Ave., Suite C.
•Depression bipolar group
A support group for people living with depression bipolar mood disorders will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday at the Yuma Community Food Bank board room, 2325 S. Engler Ave. off 24th Street. •Recovery group
