Havasu sweeps top GVR awards

Lake Havasu's Max Dreager was named the Gila Valley Region's Player of the Year and  coach Scott Becker was selected as the Coach of the Year during a meeting of the region coaches on Tuesday.
 
Kofa's Simon Corea and Gilberto Palacio were selected to the region's first team along with Cibola's Garrett Firestone, Havasu's Aaron Troyer and Gila Ridge's Lance McLaren.
 
Havasu's Wade Shugrue and Jeremy Holtzen were second team designees. They were joined by Gila Ridge's Josh Grover, Cibola's Alex Cronemeyer and Kofa's Cesar Valenzuela.
