The Yuma County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly mixer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Northern Arizona University-Yuma in the lobby of the Academic Complex on the Yuma campus.

RCBH announces accreditation
The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. and its Health Education Career Institute announce that the center has been nationally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, effective Aug. 1.
Health Education Career Institute goals are:
• To establish a pipeline for “growing our own” health-care workforce in western Arizona.
• To work and engage local health-care industries in addressing health-care workforce needs.
“This is a great accomplishment for our institution and a great service to our community, to be able to provide technical vocational careers in the different areas of health care and patient care to meet the workforce needs of our fast growing healthcare industry,” said Amanda Aguirre, president and CEO of the RCBH/HECI.

Intermediate level Microsoft Excel 2010
An intermediate level course on Microsoft Excel 2010 will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arizona Western College main campus, 2010 S. Avenue 8E, in Room AC 159.
This course was developed to expand Excel skills and boost productivity. Participants will learn about managing multiple worksheets using formulas, nine keyboard shortcuts, tips for recording a macro, use formulas and functions, sort and filter worksheet data, enhance worksheets with charts and more.
Cost is $99 for the class and materials.

The two-day course, Profit Mastery: Get Control of Your Business, will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Arizona Western College Entrepreneurial Center, 1351 S. Redondo Center Drive, Suite 101.
The DVD-based program will be facilitated by Randy Nelson, director of the AWC Small Business Development Center, who has been trained by Business Resource Services to lead people through the program.
In the hands-on workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of their organization’s financial position, learn tools to take active control and create a vision for financial success.
