Here's some ideas for saving tax money
U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva mentions in his latest newsletter that the rich and corporations should pay their fair share and suggests expanding social programs. I have a better idea - as a matter of fact I have many ideas.
How about everyone paying their fair share, including the 40 some percent that don’t pay taxes? How about we start a fair tax and get rid of the IRS which would save a bundle? How about we review our foreign aid programs and start cutting out some of the unappreciative countries, which would save us a bundle?
How about a national sales tax which would be fair because the rich would pay way more of the taxes because they can afford to buy more expensive toys and the 40 some odd percent that don’t pay taxes would be paying their proportion as they can afford?
How about getting the career welfare recipients off welfare and putting their butts back to work in public projects? How about we stop the abuse of the Medicare and Social Security programs by the illegal aliens and welfare cheats which would save a bundle?
Just those ideas alone would get us a whole lot closer to getting out of debt.
Capitol Hill hasn’t been using the God-given sense they were born with and the progressives, like Rep. Grijalva, appear to be totally absent of common sense.
