Julieanna's Patio Cafe

Anyone looking for a romantic place to take their loved one to dinner need look no further than Julieanna's Patio Cafe.

The Sun's readers have voted it Yuma's Best Romantic Dining for 10 consecutive years.

"After 10 years, I guess it's something we take for granted now," said Brant Gordon, manager. "I have a wonderful staff here and on top of that, we have an unparalleled ambience. We put a lot of time and effort into keeping it looking beautiful, and we have great taste."

Those could be some of the reasons why Julieanna's was also named Yuma's Best Outdoor Dining and Best Place to Propose for 2007.

"I'd like to say thank you," Gordon said. "We realize the patrons in Yuma have choices, and we're thankful that they recognize the great attributes here.

"It reinforces our belief that Julieanna's provides a unique niche among the restaurants in Yuma. We distinguish ourselves from other restaurants by maintaining the beauty and ambience because that's what people have come to expect from us. We try to give people in Yuma what they expect.

"We provide regular dining, patio dining and we have a private dining room with audio-visual equipment that caters to business meetings.

"We also have a full catering service, and we host parties for up to 300 people on site."

He describes the food at Julieanna's as "a fusion between California coastal cuisine and steakhouse."

Julieanna's is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch, and 4:30 to 9 p.m. for dinner.
