Bradley M. Kopp
Army Spec. Bradley M. Kopp has returned to Anchorage, Alaska, after being deployed to Afghanistan for one year. Kopp is one of 3,500 members of the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division stationed at Fort Richardson.
Soldiers improved roads, provided vocational training, improved and reopened 29 schools, remodeled six medical clinics and improved district courthouses.
Kopp, an infantryman, is normally assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment at Fort Richardson. The son of Michael and Susan Kopp of Yuma, he is a 2005 graduate of Kofa High School and has served for more than two years.
Christopher J. Todd
Christopher J. Todd has been promoted to the rank of private two in the U.S. Army.
Todd, a fire finder radar operator, is the son of Angie Todd of Yuma and a 1998 graduate of Cibola High School.
Samuel B. Lopez
Army Pvt. Samuel B. Lopez has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky.
During the nine-week training period, Lopez received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons, rifle marksmanship, chemical warfare, field training, military courtesy, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, traditions and core values.
Lopez is the son of Ann and Jose Lopez of San Luis, Ariz.
