Legalization idea is flawed

The politicians that we elected to uphold the Constitution of the United States have decided that since there are too many illegal aliens in this country, the only way to solve this problem is to give them a path to legalization. They say it would not be practical to find and deport 11 million people.
For argument’s sake, I wonder what would happen if all the United States citizen taxpayers in this country decided not to pay their taxes. I have a feeling the government would find a way to make sure they got OUR money. Just saying.
