Also concerned about our future
In response to the letter by Gregory Gardner on Nov. 18 (“Obama won but nation lost”), I too share his thoughts and concerns for what lays ahead for America.
While those who supported Barack Obama are still celebrating his victory, I doubt they realize they really didn't elect Obama. Rather, they elected George Soros and a Marxist form of government.
If anyone doubts my claim, I suggest they read the “Communist Manifesto.” These 10 planks illustrate the path our government is on, present and future to socialism-government dependency, Marxism – government control and communism – government ownership. This is a good reference as to where our country will be in four years under a Obama presidency.
Engrossed in the enthusiasm of their campaign and captivated by the charisma of Obama, his supporters have no idea the devastation his administration will have on our country. At some point in time, his supporters will understand that once Obama got the vote of the special interest groups, he no longer needs them to implement his agenda.
In closing, quoting Gardner: “There will be those of you who will say my words are the words of a sore loser. I'm not a sore loser. I'm a sore American.”
Yes, Obama won but America lost.
