Cibola boys, girls win 3-way

The Cibola boys and girls golf teams won a three-way match with Yuma High and San Luis at the Cocopah Golf course on Tuesday.


Cibola’s Vincent Wolfe took medalist honors in the boys match with a 37 on the nine-hole meet. The Raiders won with a score of 203, San Luis took second as a team with a 234 and Yuma High took third, but did not have enough players to qualify a score.


Cibola’s Yesong Han took medalist honors in the girls match with a 36. The Raiders won with a score of 187 and Yuma High took second with a 246. San Luis did not have enough players to qualify a team score.

 

PREP VOLLEYBALL


Kings sweep Raiders


Kofa defeated Cibola 25-18, 25-21, 25-23 at home on Tuesday.


Miranda Brookhart had 10 kills and Maggie Galvan had 23 assists for the Kings.
The teams made up the previously scheduled match from Sept. 8 that was canceled because of the power outages.


Kofa is back in action today at San Luis.
