Kristin Macak
Kristin Macak was recently awarded a P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education grant for $2,000. She was recommended by members of P.E.O. Chapter CJ Yuma, in which her grandmother, Jean O. Stevens, is an active member.
After receiving her bachelor's degree in anthropology in 2007 from Florida State University and working in Hawaii as a staff archaeologist, Macak is now pursing a master's degree in biological anthropology at Sacramento State.
She is the daughter of former Yuman Janie (Stevens) Macak.
David Robles
Navy Seaman David Robles recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Robles, the son of Maria and Marco Robles of Somerton, is a 2012 graduate of Kofa High School.
