Supervisors to hold two public hearings concerning Martinez Lake
The Yuma County Board of Supervisors will hold two public hearings during Monday's meeting.
The first hearing, which is scheduled to begin at approximately 11 a.m., is to consider whether to accept a . mile segment of North Martinez Lake Road into the county's road system.
County staff recommends accepting the stretch of North Martinez Lake Road because it was originally transferred to the county, but never formally established by the board.
The second hearing, which will begin immediately afterward is to consider a petition request from residents of Martinez Lake to establish a transfer site (dump) at Martinez Lake.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium, located at 198 S. Main St. It will also be broadcast live on Yuma Government Channel 77.
