What led you to join the military?
As a young boy in Atlanta, Ga., my father took me to an airshow where I saw the Blue Angels perform. From that day forward, I knew I was going to join the Navy and be a part of the aviation team.
What are some medals, commendations, citations or other military honors you are proud of having earned?
Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, (Operation Frequent Wind) National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct (5) Meritorious Unit Commendation, several Sailor of the Month awards.
What would be your advice to someone considering or planning a career in the military?
1. A great chance to further your education.
2. The opportunity to meet people and visit places you would never otherwise be able to see.
3. Great job security.
4. The benefits you reap after retirement are numerous including, but not limited to, medical benefits.
What are your hobbies and interests?
Fishing and woodworking
