What led you to join the military?

The adventure to get to see new places around the world while being a Marine.

What is the most valuable lesson you've gained from your military services?

Brotherhood — I have met great Marines throughout my career that will go above and beyond to take care of each other. At the end, that's what Marines do.

What are some medals, commendations, citations or other military honors you are proud of having earned?

Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for my deployment with the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

What would be your advice to someone considering or planning a career in the military?

No matter what duty station or billet, give your best to perform in your occupation and as a leader of Marines.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Higher education and time with family.

I'm happily married with two children.
