Eufemia L. Mejia, 96, of Yuma, died Jan. 21, 2007, in Yuma.

She was born June 4, 1910, in Picacho, Calif., and was a homemaker.

A wake will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with rosary from 7 to 8 p.m. Mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Mission at Fort Yuma. Burial will follow in Desert Lawn.

Jack Gordon Merrifield

Jack Gordon Merrifield, 79, died Jan. 22, 2007, at his Yuma home.

He was born April 26, 1927, in Cambridge, Ohio, was a floor covering installer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
