Sanford "Sparky" Walker, 83, of Yuma, died at his home Feb. 27, 2004.
He was born April 5, 1920, in Attalla, Ala., and was a retired construction contractor.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Kammann Mortuary.

Christine M. Morse, 82, died Feb. 29, 2004, at her Yuma home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1922, in Slaton, Texas, and had been the cafeteria manager at Carver School.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, with entombment to follow at Desert Lawn. Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Ascencion Chairez
Ascencion Chairez, 71, of Yuma, died Feb. 28, 2004, in La Mesa Rehabilitation & Care Center.
He was born May 8, 1932, in Santa Ana, Calif., and was the owner-operator of a retail business. He served in the Navy during World War II.
Viewing will be noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Yuma Mortuary Chapel, followed by funeral services.

Miguel Angel Juarez Jr., 16, of Yuma, died Feb. 27, 2004, in Yuma.
He was born Oct. 16, 1987, in San Luis Rio Colorado, Son., and was a high school student.
A wake will be 5 to 9 p.m. today, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, with burial to follow at Desert Lawn. Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements.
