Politicians need to get back on track

We were advised to keep our comments short. Congress should practice the same thing with our country. The Senate and the House of Representatives are playing a game with our livelihoods. It seems as though they have forgot that they work for us, not the other way around. They need to stop their political positioning, and get to doing what they were hired for. If our pay is effected by their inactions, then theirs should be effected also. I can't believe that these people that run this country, (or should that be ruin?), could stoop so low to add the “pork” onto this last bill. All of the politicians' salaries should be based on pay for performance. If it was, they might be on welfare! If we performed at the level that these employees do, they would be fired. I hope these people with our lives in their hands start doing the right thing and get this country back on track. We as citizens need to get more involved in what is going on.
